Inclusive Facilitation

How do you create an environment that is truely inclusive, where everyone has the experience of being valued and respected? As a facilitator, you're constantly balancing the need for structure with the need for participants free self expression and independent involvement. 

This program is most relevant for designing experiences with clear outcome goals and where participants will benefit from learing from and engaging with each other during the time together. The concepts can be applied to both in-person and online gatherings. The tools shared will primarily be relevant to online events.

In this active design session, you will learn - 

* Techniques to scaffold skills, behaviors, and complexity to maximize engagement

* How structure supports inclusivity, psychological safetey, and managing power dynamics

* Practical insights, activities, and tools to apply to your own programs
